Key Features
Power
The Tacklife is a very powerful 750W Planer, delivering up to 16,000 rpm and is able to plane 2mm. Many other corded versions can manage 4mm so you would need to run over twice with this model.
This wouldn't put me off as you would be paying about 3 or 4 times the price to get the 4mm.
Planing
This cordless planer delivers fast stock removal at a width of 82mm and will remove 2mm at a time. 82mm is a pretty standard size and you wouldn't really need anything wider than this. It's ideal for trimming doors and other surfaces leaving a very smooth finish.
The front and rear shoe milled in situ and this gives increased accuracy
Flexibilty
This planer is light to carry and use. It can be left in your tool box and is ready to go at any time. It's brilliant for awkward jobs and is surprisingly quiet. You can tell from the price that this is not a planer to be used all day every day but it's very handy for the odd job and it works very well.

Absolutely great value tool that is getting some of the best reviews and ratings that I have ever seen. There have been hundreds of buyers and this is really a brilliant budget tool.
It is really a pleasure to work with. Light, flexible and has plenty of power.
I would say that this is perfect for DIY and is exactly the right price for a handy tool that is used occassionally. Definitely a bargain.
