Measuring Wheel Buying Tips

When you are buying one of these measuring wheels then here's what you need to think about.

INSIDE OR OUTSIDE

Is this wheel going to be used mostly indoors or outdoors or could it be both places? . If its mostly for outdoors, you will want a bigger wheel, say a 10 inch or 12 inch model. If you're going to use for both then i would go for a 6 inch model and finally If you're only reslly going to use it inside then we would recommend a smaller wheel.

UNITS OF MEASURE

This is an easy one for me. Go for a digital readout and you can switch between whatever unit of measure you want. I wouldn't consider an analogue model personally.

WARRANTY

Most are one year,so look for this as a minimum as they can be quite expensive. However, just look after the wheel and it should last a very long time.

CARRYING CASE

I would definitely get one with a case or buy a case at the same time as this will help to keep dust and water off of your measuring wheel and allow it to work properly and last longer. I also liked the model that came with a stand. This is far more useful than you would think.
