Makita DTD154 BL - 3 Key Features
3 Stage Power Selection
Many buyers commented on the effectiveness of the electronic 3 stage impact power selection, High, Medium and Low to deliver up to 3,800 ipm, 3,600 rpm, Buyers really did understand that this makes this driver much more efficient than many other drivers on the UK market.
No Screw Stripping
This model also has an automatic electronic controller. That downshifts and reduces rotation and impact speed prior to driving the screw into place. This has been engineered to minimise screw thread stripping, breaking and damage to the work. Its no impossible to still strip the threads but its much more unlikely.
The brushless motor eliminates carbon brushes, enabling the motor to run cooler and more efficiently for longer life. All of the better and high quality tools have brushless motors which truly does extend their lifetime of use.
