It is used mainly by metal workers, welders, car restoration people and by those who take their DIY seriously. They are also, it has to be said, one of the most dangerous power tools to use, so you need to be extra careful when using this tool.

In fact when it comes to workshop accidents, the angle grinder comes in at number two on the accident list, just after saws. These are one tool not to be messed around with, as they can do serious damage in the wrong hands

Einhell is becoming a well known name in tools and this angle grinder has been tried and tested. Obviously it has been very well liked but it's hard for me to understand why you would buy this instead of the Makita model as there is very little difference in price.

In our overall ratings this grinder gets 90% and over 70% of all buyers gave it a 5 start rating. I expect if it was a bit cheaper it would get 100% but it's priced along side the big boys so it's not a bargain or cheaper version tool.

You do of course also need to buy some cutting and grinding discs to go with your new machine.

All the major brands make these discs, and there is a vast difference in the qualities. I would advise you to stick to a name your know, especially if you are buying the diamond cutting discs. These can be expensive and you want to get something that works well and also that lasts well.
