This is really a cross over between a drill an an impact driver. I have this model myself and have used it around the house on many jobs, over many years. I mainly use it as a driver and it does an excellent job. It is one of the best sellers for bosch and I can highly recommend it. This particular package is also great value.

I have done a more extensive review on this model, so if you need more information just click here on PSB1800 full review.

No 3 - Bosch Professional GDR 18 V 200 C Cordless Impact Driver Summary Review

96% buyer satisfaction from over 300+ customer reviews

  • 96% buyer satisfaction rating
  • Body only 18V
  • 200Nm of torque
  • Lasting and powerful impact driver handy for heavy applications; it has long lifetime due to the brushless EC motor, robust design and Electronic Motor Protection (EMP)
  • No kickback nor reaction torque on wrist as the motor is not directly connected to the bit holder
  • Portable impact driver thanks to the compact size with the head length if 126 mm; handy for hard-to-reach areas due to its head length to torque ratio

This is pretty much the same as the GDX model thats our number one choice. The GDR's and GDX's are reallt the same apart from the chuck end. The GDR models have the standard hex bit holder but he GDX's have a combined hex bit holder and 1/2" socket holder, so when we compare the two models we will always favour the GDX

No 4 - Bosch PDR 18 LI Cordless Impact Driver Summary Review

92% buyer satisfaction from over 150+ customer reviews

  • 92% buyer satisfaction rating
  • Body only 18V
  • 130Nm torque
  • Very powerful: high torque and high impact force ensure optimum performance when driving screws in metal and wood
  • Very convenient: the compact and ergonomic shape, and a low weight ensure fatigue-free working
  • The High-performance motor runs on reduced current, therefore enabling a particularly long runtime and increased efficiency

I love this tool. It's neat, easy to use and works really well. The problem i have is that is comes without a Bosch battery or Bosch charger to when you add those on to the cost its much cheaper to buy the PSB 1800 above. If you already have the battery etc though, this is a great tool to add to your collection.

No 5 - Bosch Professional BITURBO GDS 18V-1050 H cordless impact driver Summary Review

94% buyer satisfaction from over 200+ customer reviews

  • Ideal power control thanks to three-speed/torque settings

  • Professional 18V System. Ultimate performance. Maximum freedom. All rechargeable batteries are compatible with new and existing Bosch Professional tools in the same voltage class.

This tool is well into the realms of a fully professional model. Its made for tradesmen, so unless you are going to use this every day then I doubt you will need this level of power or durability. That being said, its the ultimate in the Bosch range. If you want the best then this is it, the torque on this model is massive !

94% buyer satisfaction from over 750+ customer reviews

  • 94% buyer satisfaction rating
  • Body only 12V
  • The shortest cordless impact driver in its class
  • ‎10 x 6 x 10 cm and weighs in at 1.2 Kilograms
  • Optimum handling, especially when driving screws in overhead and in tight spaces thanks to the short design with a length of only 137 mm
  • Powerful 105 Nm torque for 80 percent of all common cordless impact driver applications in metal and concrete

How often are you doing a job that you just cant get a power tool in at ? This Bosch model is the shortest you can get and is extremely handy for awkward jobs in confined spaces. Its powerful enough for most jobs and it would be perfectly good to use as your main, everyday driver. I usually prefer 18V models but would make an exception for this particular tool. Its great.

Bosch Impact Driver Buying Tips

You really cant go wrong if you are going to buy one of these Bosch impact drivers. They are one of the best tools on the market and great value for money. There are a few things you need to remember before you make a purchase though.

Many of these will come as "body only" so that means you will have to buy the battery as well. Can I suggest that you buy two batteries at this point? You will never regret it and although they are not cheap, it will make your life so much easier.

Everybody should have one of these tools. Just makes any job so much easier.
