Masonry Hand Saw Buying Tips

These masonry saws actually work very well on most concrete and brick. if you have a few blocks to cut or you need to cut bricks to edge a path then they are ideal. They cut through new blocks extremely well but I can tell you that you definitely wont be cutting 100 blocks with a manual saw. Also I wouldn't attempt to out older blocks as they harden with age and you will just blunt the saw quite quickly.

That being said, they work a hell of a lot better than i would have thought. Even the cheaper ones will do a good job and they don't blunt quickly at all,  as i expected. If you are going to be using this type of saw regularly then i would advise you go for one the the more expensive saws, it will last you a life time.

If you have one or two jobs to do, then you will see that the cheapest saws came out first and second in our ratings and i can assure you, that you will be impressed by how well they actually work.

A very quick video review

We have looked over all the video reviews and found this great short presentation on these masonry sawsl. It gives you an instant idea of what to expect as well as telling you all the features and spec in and easy to understand format.

I hope you enjoy watching it as I always think its much better to see a tool in action rather than just reading about it or seeing pictures. This guy is particularly good at explaining the features of the saws and he is well known for demonstrating tools.
