Safety When Using any Superglue

When doing our research we noticed that all manufacturers issued safety notices for using their glue. Hopefully the reasons for that are obvious in that you want to avoid this stuff getting on to your skin or accidentally being rubbed on to your skin.

You should wear gloves when using any superglue and ideally some form of eye protection.

If it gets on your hands it can cause skin irritation so always a good idea to have some de-bonder available should that happen.

There are always fumes from any glue because of the ingredients so prolonged use may cause eye irritation

Always read the label and product information before use.

Many superglues are also flammable so be careful during use and when storing them.

So as you can see, there are a number of superglues available on the UK market. If in doubt use one of the general purpose glues first, and if that doesn't work, then try a superglue for the specific materials you are trying to fix.
