Best Electric Tyre Pump for Cars UK

Thanks for taking your time to read our reviews on the best electric tyre pumps for cars that are currently available on the United Kingdom marketplace. Easy to carry, great in an emergency and much easier than an old fashioned foot pump.

One of these electric tyre pumps will get you out of trouble if you have a puncture or your tyre is going soft. Just get it connected and it will have you up and going in no time. At a little over £20 I think everyone should have one of these in their boot, definitely a must for me.

Just below you will see our top list of Tyre Pumps. However, we also know you are busy, so if you don't have time to read our full review, we would highly recommend the best selling WindGallop Digital Car Tyre Inflator. This unit is absolutely superb and if you want the a good quality pump at a reasonable price, then this is it.

Just below, we have also completed some summary reviews on each of these, so as you can see which is the best option for you.

WindGallop Digital Car Tyre Inflator

90% buyer satisfaction from over 4,500+ customer reviews

Just plug this auto tyre inflator into the 12V power outlet in your car and attach the hose to the tyre you want to inflate.

Has a clear digital display that can read bar, Kpa, psi, Kg/cm 2.

It will automatically turn off when reaching the pressure value you preset.

Takes around 5 miniutes to inflate a standard 15" tyre .

Comes with 3 extra valve adaptors that cover air mattress, bike tyres, sports balls, and many other inflatables.

There is a 10.1 Ft power cord and 1.7 Ft air hose thats long enough to reach each tyre comfortably.

This is a simple tool that's cheap and easy to use. It covers a wide range of applications, not just car tyres, so I feel it's a bargain at around £25. Really it's a must have item for motorists or just normal families.

AA 12V Digital Tyre Inflator

90% buyer satisfaction from over 7,000+ customer reviews

Again this is another simple plug and play type of tool that anybody would be able to use easily.

There is a clear display in PSI, BAR and KPA and it will pump to a maximum of 120 PSI or 8.3 BAR or 827 KPA

There is a 3m power cable with a 52cm air hose, 12V adaptor, integral LED lamp

Comes with extra valve adaptors that cover air mattress, bike tyres, sports balls, and many other inflatables.

If the AA put their name to something then it's usually good, this is no exception. It does exactly what it says on the tin and I can definitely recommend it. However, when I compare it to the Wind Gallop model it looks a bit dated and I much prefer the more modern looking tool above. Both are big sellers and are highly rated so I guess its just down to personal preference.

Cordless Tyre Inflator Car Tyre Pump 12V ( Rechargeable )

92% buyer satisfaction from over 1,500+ customer reviews

This model looks a bit more fancy but the main feature is that it comes with a rechargeable battery so you don't always need a power source

It can inflate car tire from 0 to 35psi within 2 minutes, which is very impressive

There is a cut off when you have reached the preset pressure andI think this is an essential safety feature

There is a 1.5m lengthened hose and 5 kinds of nozzles for multi-purposes of car, bike, motorcycle, ball, motorboats and other inflatables

The clear, digital LCD pressure gauge is easy to read with 4 kinds of unit values: PSI, BAR,KPA and Kg/cm².

A bit more expensive but you always expect that with a rechargeable, battery type of tool. I can think of many times that the battery powered feature would come in handy and really this is still pretty cheap for what you are getting.

Best Value Hyfive Tyre Compressor Pump 12V

72% buyer satisfaction from over 200+ customer reviews

Here's the cheapest model we could find thats still reasonable quality

It's a 12v compressor with a pretty good 120w motor that supplies 12 litres per minute and goes up to 250PSI.

It somes with a good long power cord and an extra nozzle attachment to inflate balls, bicycle tyres, air mattresses and other inflatables.

Simply plug the DC power cable into your cigarette lighter socket, attach the quick connect air hose to your tyre and turn the compressor on.

As you would expect, this is nothing fancy but it works perfectly well and would get you out of trouble if you needed it. At under £10 I think its a bargain and well worth considering.

A very quick video review

We have looked over all the video reviews and found this great short presentation on these pumps. It gives you an instant idea of what to expect as well as telling you all the features and spec in and easy to understand format.

I hope you enjoy watching it as I always think its much better to see a tool in action rather than just reading about it or seeing pictures. This guy is particularly good at explaining the features and he is well known for demonstrating tools.
