Whats the difference in EV chargers?
The majority of home chargers will usually charge at 3kW or 7kW. Though you can get up to 22kW and that will give you a charge of around 40 miles in roughly an hour ( the 7kW will give you around 25 miles per hour of charge ). The higher rate one would probably require a three-phase supply, not the single-phase system that most houses use, so unless you have a workshop or have already a three phase system, then I would avoid that.

We are really jumping in price now and its hard to see how to justify that
It is the probably the most compact on the market (166x163x82 mm) so some of the extra cost will come from that
There is a maximum power of 7.4 kW , is adjustable current from 6A to 32A and has a 5 m (TYPE 2) cable so that's all pretty standard to me.
Charging is advertised up to 10 times faster, so I guess that's what you are paying for. I'd say 10 times faster is a bit of a stretch but it's definitely a lot quicker than the cheaper models. Maybe 5 times as fast
The app for this unit is really excellent and gives you remote access to do nearly any function you might need
Maybe worth the money if you regularly need a fast charge but I personally don't need that
