Screw Remover and Extractor BIT Set
88% buyer satisfaction from over 250+ customer reviews
I would call these mid-range and they work pretty well. Just press the extractor bit firmly into the ruined hex screw head & twist it out
The sharp spiral tip grips all 6 sides of a hex socket firmly without slippage and 9 out of 10 times this will work ok
Screw head types such as Phillips, Torx, square socket can be extracted if an electric drill is used to drill a pilot hole in the screw head first
You get DBZ-62, DBZ-63, DBZ-64, DBZ-65 bits | Bit size: 105mm × 6.3mm and they are made of high carbon steel

They have quick-change shanks at both ends that fit directly into impact drivers.

These are the cheap end of the market but will work ok if you hve the odd job that you are stuck with
They are pretty good quality for this sort of money and
are easily compatible with any drill chuck
I would say they are suitable to remove any stripped and damaged screw heads sizing from 2-12 mm,
Made from from High Speed Steel (HSS) 4341 and you get offered a 100 % return policy, which is unreal at this price
If you do a bit of DIY then I can easily recommend having this cheap set in your tool box
Damaged Screw Remover and Extractor Set by SKmoon
78% buyer satisfaction from over 6,000+ customer reviews
This is pretty much along the same lines compared to the model above and it also comes with a lifetime guarantee.
The 4 piece screw extractor set works with any drill and any screw size or bolt
Made from H.S.S. 4341#, the hardness is 62-63HRC
Again this is very cheap and is suitable for the occassional user. I tried it, it worked ok, cheap and pretty good for the odd job.
Obviously its popular because of the price, as there have been thousands sold but 8 out of 10 buyers would recommend it.
A very quick video review
We have looked over all the video reviews and found this great short presentation on these tools. It gives you an instant idea of what to expect as well as telling you all the features and spec in and easy to understand format.
I hope you enjoy watching it as I always think its much better to see a tool in action rather than just reading about it or seeing pictures. This guy is particularly good at explaining the features and he is well known for demonstrating tools.
I hope this has been some help to you. Most of these kits work well with cordless drills and if you need some info on what ones are the best then head on over to our best cordless drill section.
