Our Verdict on the Stanley 20 Ounce Fibreglass Claw Hammer

98 %
VALUE FOR MONEY

This 20 ounce Stanley hammer came out as the number one choice on our top 5 list of claw hammers. It has received the highest rated of them all at 4.7 out of 5 stars. That in itself is a very good sign, that you are buying quality.

Stanley the brand have been around for a very long time. There is no question in my mind, that they do make distinctive and high quality tools. Personally I have used many of them. I have used this hammer a lot and it has yet to let me down.

Now I know at the end of the day, this is just a claw hammer. Believe me though, there are some pretty useless ones on the market. They will bend over time, and they are not built to last. This is certainly not one of those. This is a good everyday hammer, but also heavy enough, when you need something that little bit tougher.

This one is ideal for most home uses, and I know many builders and construction workers, also make this their number one choice. If you only want to own one hammer, then this is the one for you. It is well balanced with a very comfortable grip.
